Following the full reveal of the Qualcomm Snapdragon X series, Acer has announced and showed off at Computex their first ever Copilot+ PC, the Acer Swift 14 AI. Positioned as a thin-and-light with exceptional battery life, the Swift 14 AI does also have more than just AI features going for it.
For starters, you’ll find a decently sized 14.5-inch WQXGA (2560 x 1600p) IPS display in a 16:10 aspect ratio capable of a 120Hz refresh rate as well as full coverage of the sRGB colour gamut, TUV Rheinland Eyesafe 2.0 certification and will also feature touchscreen options for those of you who prefer that sort of thing. All of that gets housed in a compact aluminum chassis that weighs in at just 1.36kg.
Under the hood though is the star of the show, with Acer opting to power the Swift 14 AI with your choice of the 12-core Snapdragon X Elite X1E-78-100 or the 10-core Snapdragon X Plus X1P-64-100. Apart from the core count, they’re mostly the same with the CPU running at 3.4GHz, an integrated Qualcomm Adreno GPU offering 3.8 TFLOPs of performance and the Qualcomm Hexagon NPU capable of 45 TOPS which will also power Copilot+ features such as Windows Recall. The Swift 14 AI will come with up to 32GB of LPDDR5X-8533 RAM and up to a 1TB PCIe Gen 4 SSD.
Other features of note include a 1440p QHD IR webcam with a privacy shutter, dual speakers with DTS X Audio, a dedicated Microsoft Copilot+ Copilot key and a 75Wh battery that is rated to last up to 16 hours of use. The Swift 14 AI will also support WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 wireless connectivity, in addition to the two USB-C, two USB-A and 3.5mm audio jack ports.
At time of writing though, there’s no local pricing or availability details about the Acer Swift 14 AI just yet, so do stay tuned for that. However, we do at least have some information on its global pricing, with the Swift 14 AI set to debut in North America next month with a USD1,099 (~RM5,160.35) starting price.
