Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro specs

While the previous Xiaomi Pad 6 from a year ago was already a fairly powerful and capable tablet, the Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro kicks things up a notch thanks to its Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 system-on-chip under the hood. While it may not be the absolute latest and greatest from Qualcomm now, it’s still a flagship mobile processor that’s only one generation old. It gets mated to up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage, running Android 14 out of the box skinned with Xiaomi HyperOS over it.

On top of that, there’s also a large 12.4-inch display that, while it may only be an LCD panel, still manages a respectable 900nits of peak brightness in high brightness mode and 700nits typical brightness. It pushes a 3048 x 2032p resolution too for a 294 PPI pixel density, as well as a 144Hz adaptive refresh rate. The screen supports Dolby Vision, TUV Rheinland Low Blue Light certification along with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 over it for scratch resistance.

As for its cameras, the Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro has a main 50MP, f/1.8 camera on the back using the Samsung JN1 sensor flanked by a 2MP, f/2.4 depth sensor, while in front is a 32MP, f/2.2 camera for your video calls and selfies. Other features of note include a massive 10,000mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging, a six speaker setup with Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Audio, along with support for WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 5.3 wireless connectivity.

If you want to try out the Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro as a laptop replacement altogether, then you may consider getting the Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro Touchpad Keyboard along for the ride. It adds not only a kickstand to keep the screen pointing up at you, but also has an integrated keyboard with a touchpad for more precision control when navigating around. Then there’s also the Xiaomi Focus Pen, a stylus with 8192 levels of pressure sensitivity, as well as the Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro that gives you a way to prop up the tablet both horizontally and vertically.
