iQoo Z9 specs
Starting off with the iQoo Z9, it is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, Qualcomm’s upper midrange option that debuted late last year. Available with 256GB of storage and your choice between 8GB or 12GB of RAM, it runs Android 14 out of the box, skinned with FuntouchOS 14 over it. A large 6,043mm² vapor chamber meanwhile keeps it all cool.
You’ll also find a large 6.78-inch AMOLED display pushing a 2800 x 1260p resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. On the back is a dual rear camera setup consisting of a main 50MP shooter using the Sony IMX882 sensor flanked by a 2MP bokeh sensor, while in front is a 16MP selfie shooter.
Other features of note include a large 6,000mAh battery with support for 80W superCharge fast charging, an IP64 dust and water resistance rating, an in-display fingerprint sensor and stereo speakers.
iQoo Z9x specs
As for the iQoo Z9x, despite sharing similar names it’s actually a pretty distinct device on its own. First off it comes with a slightly lower tier Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 system-on-chip instead with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. Just like the iQoo Z9 though, it comes with Android 14 out of the box skinned with FuntouchOS 14 over it.
The display meanwhile is a slightly smaller 6.72-inch IPS LCD display, with a FHD+ resolution and an up to 120Hz refresh rate. There’s also a 50MP main camera on the back, with a 2MP depth sensor below it, while in front is an 8MP selfie shooter. It too has a 6,000mAh battery with 44W FlashCharge fast charging. And while it has stereo speakers with up to 300% volume, you’ll also find a 3.5mm audio jack here if you don’t feel like letting your neighbours listen to your music.
