Xiaomi has announced the return of the Xiaomi Fan Festival for this year, happening as always on the 6th of April in conjunction with the company’s founding anniversary. As part of this year’s celebration, the 2024 Xiaomi Fan Festival will bring special activities and promotions for Malaysian Xiaomi fans.
For starters, Xiaomi will be having a number of special deals and promotions throughout the month. From now till the 15th of April, you’ll find offers for the Redmi Note 13, Redmi Note 13 5G and the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G from the official Xiaomi store on Lazada and Shopee, which includes a free pair of Redmi Buds 4 Active true wireless earbuds with your purchase.
On top of that, from 11 April onwards, Malaysians will be able to purchase Xiaomi products directly from their official mi.com website. To mark this occasion, from 11 April till 18 April, you’ll find special promos at 12PM to 2PM and 8PM to 10PM daily. Customers will also get vouchers worth up to RM190 for new users, free shipping for purchases over RM30 and a 10% coupon to use on your next purchase. That being said though, perhaps the most exciting part about the annual Xiaomi Fan Festival—formerly known as the Mi Fan Festival—will be of course the special edition smartphone in conjunction with the event. This year, Xiaomi has revealed a new member of the Redmi Note 13 series: the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G Xiaomi Fan Festival Special Edition.
This exclusive version of the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G comes in a new Mystic Silver rear finish, complete with the Xiaomi Fan Festival logo across the back which now has a silver film base covered with glass for a refractive effect that makes the logo shine when you angle it around. The special edition device also comes with exclusive wallpapers to match its metallic design, along with a bunch of Xiaomi Fan Festival-themed stickers.
The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G Xiaomi Fan Festival Special Edition will be available from 4 April onwards in just a single configuration packing 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. Priced at RM1,999, you’ll want to be quick if you’re interested as there will only be 1,000 units available for purchase from authorised Xiaomi stores nationwide and at the official Xiaomi store on Lazada and Shopee.
