ChargeSini has just deployed its first-ever EV charging site in Kelantan, located at Mydin Kubang Kerian in Kota Bharu. The rollout is part of its partnership with Mydin to deploy a total of 24 EV charging sites nationwide.
The Mydin Kubang Kerian EV charging site has a 60kW DC charger with two CCS2 nozzles. The chargers are priced at RM1.29 per kWh. If you’re getting an average of 42kW and below, you’ll be charged RM1.19 per kWh, or RM1.09 per kWh if you’re getting 22kW or lower. Users can activate and pay for the charging session via the ChargeSini app which is available on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
To prevent hoggers, ChargeSini EV charging bays are equipped with parking barriers and users can reserve the charging spot before arriving at the charging bays. There’s a minimum charge of RM5.00 per session and ChargeSini also imposes a High Occupancy Fee (also known as Idle Fee) of RM1 per 5 minutes if you don’t move your vehicle after charging has completed.
The Mydin Kubang Kerian EV charging site is the fourth DC charger in Kota Bharu. Besides this location, there’s a 60kW Gentari charger at Perdana Hotel that costs RM1.50 per kWh. There’s also another 60kW Gentari DC charger at Proton 3S JM Otomobil Inovatif which is priced at RM1.40 per minute. Alternatively, there’s also a 30kW DC charger at BMW Raza Premium Kota Bharu priced at RM0.60 per minute, which can be activated via ChargEV.
