You can purchase them at any Samsung Experience Stores, Samsung Authorised Retailers, Samsung Online Store and Samsung Brand Stores on Shopee and Lazada. Samsung Galaxy A35 and A55 Malaysia Specs
The Samsung Galaxy A35 and A55 now get a tweaked design and both share a lot of things in common, especially the display. Upfront, both get a 6.6″ 120Hz Full HD+ Super AMOLED display which features Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+. Both devices get glass backs and a new slightly raised bump on the side frame that houses the volume rocker and power button. The Galaxy A55’s frame is metal while the A35 uses plastic.
Under the hood, the Galaxy A55 runs on a newer Exynos 1480 chip which has AMD RDNA2-based GPU. The device is mated with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Meanwhile, the cheaper A35 runs on the Exynos 1380, which powers last year’s Galaxy A54, along with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
In the camera department, both A35 and A55 have similar camera setups. The base Galaxy A35 get a triple-camera setup with a 50MP main camera, 8MP ultra-wide-angle shooter and a 5MP macro shooter. The Galaxy A55 shares the same setup but it gets a higher resolution 12MP ultra-wide camera.
For selfies, both the Galaxy A35 and A55 get a single punch-hole camera with the A35 getting a 13MP selfie shooter while the A55 gets a higher resolution 32MP selfie camera.
Both devices come with 5,000mAh battery which supports 25W fast wired charging via USB-C. Samsung also says the new Galaxy A35 and A55 duo is the first in the Galaxy A series to feature Samsung Knox Vault, which is a secured and isolated subsystem designed to be tamper-proof. Like the previous generation, you also get IP67-rated dust and water resistance and it also supports WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, 5G and NFC.
Unlike the Galaxy S24 series, the latest Galaxy A35 and A55 are only promised four years of major Android OS upgrades and five years of security support. Out of the box, it runs on Android 14 with the latest OneUI 6.1 skin.
