Honor Magic 6 Pro Specs

The Honor Magic 6 Pro offers several notable upgrades over last year’s Magic 5 Pro flagship. The Full HD+ is now slightly smaller at 6.8″ and has a “quad-curved” OLED display that pushes a Full HD+ resolution of 2800×1280 pixels. The screen now boasts an even higher 4320Hz PWM Dimming for better eye comfort, a 1-120Hz adaptive dynamic refresh rate and up to 5,000 nits of peak brightness for HDR.

As you would expect from a 2024 flagship, it runs on a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. The device also gets IP68-rated dust and water resistance and a dedicated Honor C1+ and E1 chips which supposedly help in improving wireless connectivity and power management respectively. The device also features a dedicated security chip called the S1.

The biggest star of the show is the camera which features a huge circular camera bump in the rear. The rear gets a triple-camera setup featuring a 50MP main camera with variable f/1.4-f/2.0 aperture, a 180MP periscope telephoto camera with 2.5x optical zoom and a 50MP ultra-wide-angle shooter with macro capabilities. For selfies, the device gets a 50MP front camera that sits in a pill-shaped punch-hole.

Powering the device is a massive 5,600mAh battery that uses Honor’s second generation Silicon-carbon. According to Honor, the battery boasts low-temperature performance and users can still play videos for up to 81 minutes at -20°C with only 10% battery life remaining. The Honor Magic 6 Pro supports 80W fast wired charging and 66W fast wireless charging. Out of the box, it runs on Android 14 with MagicOS 8.

So far there’s no pricing yet but Malaysians can pick between Epi Green with a vegan-leather finish or Black. As a reference, the previous Honor Magic 5 Pro with 12GB RAM + 512GB storage was officially priced at RM4,299.
