Looking for a tablet? Huawei’s newest tablet may just be something up your alley. The Huawei MatePad 11.5 PaperMatte Edition is the latest addition to the brand’s tablet lineup. The company says the tablet is designed for students and young professionals, offering functionality and productivity in a single device.
Huawei Malaysia MatePad 11.5 PaperMatte Edition Features
The hero feature of the tablet is the 120 Hz PaperMatte Display, featuring SGS Low Visual Fatigue Premium Performance Certification and TÜV Rheinland Reflection-Free Certification. According to Huawei, it is the only tablet brand that is certified with both qualifications. In a nutshell, the display suppresses blue light and flickering, giving users a more comfortable viewing experience while reducing eye strain. The screen has a resolution of 2200 × 1440 pixels (229 PPI) and is also non-reflective, providing a crystal-clear viewing experience even under direct light.
Inside, the tablet is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor, running HarmonyOS 3.1. The tablet also comes with 256GB of storage and 8GB of RAM. Not the highest-end tablet, but more than enough to run most productivity software or consume content on the go.
Like the other Huawei Tablets, the new MatePad 11.5 PaperMatte Edition comes with a suite of software designed to increase productivity. Huawei includes WPS Office for working with documents while SuperHub facilitates seamless file transfers. Users can also use the Huawei M-Pencil (2nd generation) with the Notes app for notetaking and sketching.
At the back of the tablet is a single 13MP camera while the front-facing camera module is an 8MP unit. Powering everything is a 7,700mAh battery that supports fast charging at 22.5 Watts. No cellular options on board, but you do get WiFi and Bluetooth 5.2. Everything listed here is in a tablet that weighs in at 449 grams only and measures 6.85mm at the thinnest part.
