Alongside the ROG Zephyrus G14, Asus has now also announced the arrival of the TUF Gaming A15 to our shores. While perhaps no longer as affordable as other TUF-branded gaming laptops before this, the new TUF Gaming A15 is certainly one of the most powerful ones yet.

Asus says that the TUF Gaming A15 will be hitting the shelves at all Asus retailers nationwide later this month. You’ll be able to find it in three different configurations:
- TUF Gaming A15, Ryzen 9, 16GB RAM, 1TB SSD, RTX 4060, FHD 144Hz – RM6,499
- TUF Gaming A15, Ryzen 9, 16GB RAM, 1TB SSD, RTX 4070, FHD 144Hz – RM6,799
- TUF Gaming A15, Ryzen 9, 16GB RAM, 1TB SSD, RTX 4070, QHD 165Hz – RM6,999
Asus TUF Gaming A15 specs
The TUF Gaming A15 features a 15-inch, IPS display in a standard 16:9 aspect ratio, with your choice of either a FHD resolution or a higher QHD 1440p resolution. The FHD panels will also be capable of a 144Hz refresh rate, while the QHD panel can do up to 165Hz instead. Regardless of your choice of display, you’ll still get a 3ms response time and full coverage of the sRGB colour gamut.
Under the hood, the TUF Gaming A15 comes with an AMD Ryzen 9 8945H as standard across the board, mated to 16GB of DDR5 5600MHz RAM and a 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD. Graphics meanwhile get taken care of by an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 in the base model, rising to the GeForce RTX 4070 on the higher end models. You’ll also find Windows 11 Home pre-installed out of the box.
As for I/O, the TUF Gaming A15 packs a USB-C 4.0 port, a USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port, two USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports, a HDMI 2.1 port, an Ethernet port and a 3.5mm combo audio jack. You’ll also find support for WiFI 6 and Bluetooth 5.3 wireless connectivity. Keeping the lights on meanwhile is a 90Wh battery. Other features of note include an RGB backlit keyboard, a 720p webcam and stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos. The whole laptop weighs in at 2.2kg, and measures 24.95mm thick.
