This post is brought to you by OPPO.
If you’re in the market for an Android tablet that can juggle work and play at an affordable price, the new Pad Neo from OPPO comes packed with features to meet those needs. A large 11.4-inch display provides ample space for content, a quad-speaker array pumps out louder sound, a large 8,000 mAh battery offers a long endurance, and a suite of smart cross-device connectivity software makes work easier.
An 11.4-inch, high-resolution 2.4K display
A large screen on a tablet provides more immersive content consumption and more space for apps to spread out, especially when multitasking. As such, the OPPO Pad Neo comes with a large 11.4-inch LCD capable of 400 nits peak brightness and covers 96% of the NTSC colour space for vivid picture quality. It also features a high-resolution panel with 2408 x 1720 pixels, producing crisp and sharp images.
That resolution gives the Pad Neo an aspect ratio of 7:5 which is similar to the proportions of a typical book. Therefore, reading digital books and magazines on the Pad Neo feels more familiar. Besides that, the aspect ratio also provides for a more consistent visual experience, be it in landscape, portrait, or split screen mode.
Since you’ll be working or consuming content for hours at a time during the day and night, the Pad Neo is equipped with hardware-level low blue light technology and a Smart Color Temperature Adjustment mode that reduces eyestrain and minimises disruptions to sleep patterns caused by excessive exposure to blue screen light.
If that’s not enough to convince you, the screen is also the first to receive the Circadian Friendly and Full Care Display 2.0 certifications from TÜV Rheinland, further reinforcing its comprehensive and eye-friendly experience.
Work faster with seamless cross-device connectivity
Thanks to more powerful and comprehensive mobile apps, an Android tablet can be used to perform light work like typing a document and researching. OPPO has further elevated this experience on the Pad Neo by implementing cross-device connectivity with a compatible OPPO smartphone, unlocking a suite of cross-device features.
For example, Content Sync enables photos, videos, or screenshots to seamlessly synchronise between the Pad Neo and the smartphone. This means you can take a photo of a receipt and it will immediately be available on the Pad Neo so you can easily insert it into your document.
There’s also universal copy-paste which allows you to copy a text on your smartphone and paste it into a text field on the Pad Neo. No more fumbling with having to send texts between devices using a messaging app.
In supported apps, you can use App Relay to seamlessly pick up and continue tasks between the Pad Neo and your smartphone, right where you left off. Say for example you’re watching a video using the native video app on your smartphone and want to switch over to the Pad Neo. Just look for that video app icon at the right side of the app dock on the Pad Neo and the video will resume exactly where you stopped on your phone.
If the apps you use for work are spread across the Pad Neo and your smartphone, you can use the screen mirroring feature to display your phone’s screen on the tablet, gathering all your apps in a single place.
Great overall package for the price
Whether you’re watching a SoyaCincau video on YouTube or typing an email, the OPPO Pad Neo offers a pleasant experience with a MediaTek Helio G99 processor with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage which is expandable via a microSD card. There’s also a 4G option so you can take your fun, or work, on the go with you.
Movies, TV shows, and video calls will sound louder and fuller with audio pumped through a quad-speaker system with support for Dolby Atmos surround processing. Thanks to the 8,000 mAh battery, you can binge-watch episode after episode of your favourite TV show or talk to your loved ones longer on a video call.
When the low battery warning eventually shows up, just connect the Pad Neo to the included charger with support for 33W SUPERVOOC fast charging.
OPPO also says it has worked meticulously to craft a premium design with a Space Grey back panel featuring a central camera module that doesn’t get in the way of your fingers and therefore, offers a more comfortable grip.
