As the aerotrain service is still down at KLIA Terminal 1, Malaysia Airlines has teamed up with BMW Group Malaysia to offer exclusive private terminal transfers for its Business Class and Business Suite ticket holders, as well as Enrich Platinum members to travel in premium comfort between the Main Terminal Building and the Satellite Building at KLIA. The collaboration with BMW was made via their dealer partner, Ingress Auto Sdn Bhd.
The private transfer service will begin on 1 February 2024 and will depart from a dedicated premium transfer lounge at Gate G1. The passengers will be chauffeured from the lounge to the Satellite Terminal in the BMW i7 electric vehicles. This transfer service is in addition to the already available Premium Bus transfer service currently offered by MAHB.
In addition, the transfer service is also available 24 hours a day for passengers who need transport from one terminal to the other.
During the initial phase, a fleet of BMW i7 vehicles will be deployed to serve departing passengers, from the pick-up point. According to MAS, the service is currently only for departures for now as the arrival lounge at the Satellite Building is still under construction, and more cars will be deployed once that lounge is completed.

According to BMW, the company will be installing 22kW AC chargers in KLIA to charge the i7 fleet. The cars will be rotated to ensure that there will always be a vehicle ready to transport the Malaysia Airlines premium passengers as needed.
The transfer service will be running until the aerotrain service is resumed. Neither BMW nor Malaysia Airlines commented on the availability of the service after the reinstatement of the aerotrain.
