Just as Samsung kicked off its first Galaxy Unpacked event of 2024 in San Jose last week, the company has also begun accepting pre-orders for the new Samsung Galaxy S24 series in Malaysia. Aside from Samsung Malaysia’s e-store and Samsung Experience Stores, you can get your hands on the new flagship series from other authorised Samsung dealers and platforms too.
Free Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro for Galaxy S24 Series pre-order customers
The biggest difference between pre-ordering your Samsung Galaxy S24 Series devices at these external dealers and platforms is that you will receive a free Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro alongside your purchase.
The Galaxy Buds 2 Pro debuted in August 2022 alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 4, Z Flip 4, Watch 5, and Watch 5 Pro. The true wireless earbuds were 15% smaller than their predecessor and feature a more secure fit.
Samsung also claimed that the Buds 2 Pro offers 40% better active noise cancellation (ANC) performance than the original Buds Pro. In addition to the support for 24-bit audio, these earbuds can also deliver spatial audio through a feature Samsung called the 360 audio.
When it comes to battery life, the earbuds themselves can last up to five hours or eight hours if you turn the ANC off. You can extend the playback time through the Buds 2 Pro charging case for up to 18 hours or 29 hours with ANC off.

Some retailers may provide extra freebies
We noticed that certain retailers also added their touch to the Galaxy S24 Series pre-order program. For example, Harvey Norman gives a free Samsung 25W USB-C charger as well as an RM150 discount voucher on IT accessories for your next purchase.
On the other hand, Courts-Nojima offers e-vouchers worth RM400 to Galaxy S24 series pre-order customers although the company didn’t specify what customers can do with the voucher. Meanwhile, we also noticed that you can obtain the pre-order offer at retailers that were not mentioned on stage during the Galaxy S24 series Malaysian launch event last week such as DirectD.
Pre-order customers outside of the Samsung e-store will still receive a 2x storage upgrade
All of the retailers and platforms mentioned above also offer the double storage promotion for Galaxy S24 Series pre-order customers. Through this offer, you can basically purchase a Galaxy S24 device with 512GB storage but at 256GB.
This is except for the Galaxy S24 UItra 1TB since there is no 2TB variant and you would receive a RM500 rebate instead. For easy reference, here’s the pre-order price of the Samsung Galaxy S24 Series in Malaysia:
