Yes Power 35 postpaid plan has just gotten a huge upgrade. Shortly after U Mobile and Hotlink revamped its 5G postpaid plan with more data, Yes 5G has bumped its affordable RM35 5G postpaid plan which now comes with a whopping 150GB of extra data.

Launched in May 2023, Yes Power 5G is the most generous 5G postpaid plan which offers 100GB of 4G/5G data with no speedcap and unlimited calls within Malaysia for only RM35/month. Best of all, you can fully utilise your quota (up to 150GB) for hotspot usage, which is more than what you get even on the highest Yes Infinite Ultra plan.

With the new upgrade, new and existing Yes Power 35 customers will now enjoy 150GB of high-speed 4G/5G data at no extra cost. That calculates to about 23 sen per GB which is the lowest for the segment.

As a comparison, U Mobile’s newly revamped Postpaid 38 (RM38/month) now offers 120GB of 4G/5G data and unlimited calls for RM38/month and you can also fully utilise your quota allocation for hotspot usage.

Meanwhile, Maxis’ Hotlink has also revamped its Postpaid 5G plans which now offer 60GB of data [ 30GB (4G/5G) + Bonus 30GB (5G) ] and unlimited calls for RM45/month. As part of their promo, Hotlink users can get a RM10 rebate for the first 6 months.

As a comparison, Yes 5G Infinite plans which start from RM58/month offer unlimited 5G usage for on-device only. The only difference between the tiers is the allocated hotspot which ranges between 20GB to 110GB per month. In case you missed it, Yes 5G now offers free “unlimited” 5G roaming in Singapore for all Infinite postpaid plans.

For more info, you can visit Yes 5G’s postpaid page and refer to their FAQ for more details.

Thanks @shaunkokkzm for the tip!
