For the longest time, TNB Electron Paka R&R has been the only public DC charger location in the entire state of Terengganu. Now Gentari is adding more DC chargers in the state which should help alleviate range anxiety among EV drivers. One such location is Kelab Golf Rekreasi Petronas (KGRP) which is located about 14km off the LPT2 highway (exit Plaza Tol Kerteh).

Gentari is also working on deploying more DC chargers in Terengganu. According to Plugshare, a 120kW DC charger with two CCS2 nozzles has been installed at Institut Teknologi Petroleum PETRONAS (INSTEP), which is 30km away Northwest of Kuala Terengganu. At the time of writing, this charger isn’t available yet and it appears to be using the same DC charger model as KGRP.
During the launch of their first solar and battery-assisted EV charging station at Behrang Layby (Northbound), It was revealed that Gentari has proposed to deploy similar EV charging solutions at Ajil and Perasing R&R sites along the LPT2 highway in Terengganu.
