Not enough with Reno 11, Reno 11 Pro, and Pad Neo, Oppo’s grand launch event in Desaru yesterday also featured two more devices. They come in the form of Enco Buds 2 Pro and Enco Air 3s true wireless earbuds (TWEs) but despite being positioned under the same Enco family, they are quite different to each other.

Before we go into their respective features, let’s start with the pricing first. The Enco Buds 2 Pro can be obtained immediately in Malaysia for RM169 while the higher-end Enco Buds Air 3s costs RM 249.
The Buds 2 Pro has two colour options including Granite White and Graphite Black. However, the Buds Air 3s only comes in just one colourway for Malaysia, which is the Champagne Gold.

One of Enco Buds 2 Pro’s main attractions is the 12.4mm dynamic driver units which also includes a titanium-coated diaphragm. Oppo claimed that the massive driver units allow the new TWE to deliver “deeper, punchier, and more elastic” bass.
The Buds 2 Pro also has Dolby Atmos and Dirac Audio Tuner support. That being said, you can only utilise these audio enhancements with selected Oppo phones.
When it comes to voice-related features, the Enco Buds 2 Pro has a dual microphone setup. In addition to having an AI-enhanced noise reduction algorithm, Oppo said that it has installed these microphones in a very specific spot within the earbuds to help cut down wind noise and improve call quality.
The IP55-rated Bluetooth 5.3 earbuds also have quite a long battery life with up to 38 hours of total battery life, thanks to the 480mAh battery fitted into its charging case. The earbuds themselves have a 36mAh battery each that allows them to have up to 8 hours of battery life on a single charge.

Enco Air 3s takes things up a notch with an even larger 13.4mm driver unit fitted into each earbud which features neodymium magnets and copper-aluminium wire coils. The new TWE also has a built-in Cadence HiFi5 digital signal processor to enhance the audio output further.
The Enco Air 3s is also able to deliver spatial audio through a feature called Oppo Alive Audio. This feature is not just limited to Oppo phones as users can also utilise the Alive Audio on Android devices from other brands as well as iOS devices by downloading the HeyMelody app.
To ensure good call quality, the new earbuds rely on an AI-enhanced noise cancellation algorithm. This IP54-rated Bluetooth 5.3 TWE can also support two devices at once.
Fitted with a 27mAh battery, Enco Air 3s can last up to 6 hours on a single charge. Through the 300mAh charging case, their battery life can be further extended up to 25 hours.
