Oppo’s massive launch event in Malaysia today didn’t just stop at Reno 11 and Reno 11 Pro. The company has brought in additional new devices including the Oppo Pad Neo tablet which is also making its international debut in Malaysia.

The new Oppo Pad Neo is readily available in Malaysia in two different options with one of them being the Wi-Fi variant which costs RM1,199. This variant is also equipped with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
On another hand, there is also the LTE option which costs slightly more at RM1,399. While the Pad Neo LTE still has 128GB storage, it has more RAM at 8GB.
Available solely in the Space Grey colourway, Oppo Malaysia currently provides a free Smart Case to customers with each purchase of Pad Neo. Of course, this offer is only valid while stocks last.
Oppo Pad Neo Malaysia quick specs
The Pad Neo is essentially a rebranded Pad Air 2 that was launched alongside the Reno 11 Series in China last November. Unlike the Reno models, the tablet arrived in Malaysia without any changes to the specs.
Hence, the Malaysian variant of the Pad Neo is still powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 and features an 11.4-inch LTPS display with 2408 x 1720 resolution. The display also has a 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate as well as a maximum brightness level of 400 nits.
The new tablet also comes with an 8MP f/2.0 camera on both of its back and front. Audio-wise, there are four speakers throughout the Pad Neo with support for Dolby Atmos contents and it can also deliver Hi-Res Audio when plugged into compatible headphones.
As for the battery, the Pad Neo has been fitted with a huge 8,000mAh battery which allows users to watch YouTube videos continuously for up to 14.5 hours. Since the tablet can support 33W SuperVOOC flash charging, it takes less than 2 hours to fully charge the Pad Neo.
