Gentari has kicked off the new year with several new EV charger deployments in Pahang. If you’re driving from Kuala Lumpur to Kuantan, there’s now a new 60kW DC charger deployed at Gambang, which is 30km away from the Gambang R&R (Westbound) on the East Coast Expressway (LPT).
New 60kW DC Charger at Pahang Technology Park, Gambang
The new Gentari EV charging site is located at Pahang Technology Park. This location has a 60kW DC charger with two CCS2 nozzles and two 22kW AC charge points. The DC Charger is priced at RM1.40 per minute (RM42 per 30 minutes, RM84 per hour), while the AC charge points are priced at RM0.20 per minute (RM12 per hour).
According to the PlugShare listing, the charging location is accessible 24/7 and you can inform the security guard that you need to enter the area to charge your EV. From the looks of it, the charging spot is still quite new. If you can’t find it, the exact location is at 3.7460430, 103.1251337.
New 60kW DC Charger at Proton 3S YS Autoworld Kuantan
Gentari has also deployed a 60kW DC Charger at Proton 3S YS Autoworld in Kuantan. The charger has two CCS2 nozzles but at the moment, you can only use a single nozzle at a time. Similar to Pahang Technology Park, this charger also costs RM1.40 per minute (RM42 per 30 minutes, RM84 per hour).
If you prefer a DC charger that uses kWh-based pricing in Kuantan, you can head to ChargEV’s 60kW DC charger at Starbucks Kuantan Indera Mahkota which is priced at RM1.20 per kWh. Alternatively, there’s a ChargeSini 40kW DC charger at Mega View Hotel which is priced at RM1.19 per kWh.
