TikTok has just updated its app for tablets and foldable devices. The social media app now allows users to scroll through their “for you page” on large iPads, Android tablets, and foldable Android devices. The new update will showcase content with “enhanced clarity” according to TikTok.

The app has added new features such as top and bottom navigation bars to make it easier to access tabs and featured videos. Better yet, you can now watch videos with the landscape orientation – the video will be shrunken. Still, it is also more comfortable to use for longer periods, especially on tablets.

The new TikTok tablet and Foldable experience

The new landscape mode also gives content creators a new angle to create videos as they are not locked to vertical mode only.

TikTok also said that as part of this experience, they are looking to continue experimenting with features like Topic Feeds, which allows people to explore videos across categories like Gaming, Food, Fashion, and Sports.

Users of TikTok will be able to enjoy a seamless visually appealing TikTok experience now, regardless of the device they are using on. TikTok also said that the new upgrade is a commitment from the company to provide an inclusive and enjoyable space for everyone, and they will continue to invest in creating a great experience for the community.
