U Mobile U Prepaid Borneo offers 2,000GB 5G data at only RM 15/month

Along with the new U Postpaid Borneo plans, East Malaysia customers can check out U Mobile’s latest prepaid plan for their 5G needs. The new U Mobile U Prepaid Borneo 20 offers customers a big 5G quota to use while they are in Sabah, Sarawak or Labuan.

The new plan is part of U Mobile’s increased East Malaysia focus, and more plans are expected to be rolled out soon.

Customers looking to subscribe to the U Prepaid Borneo 20, can do so via the official MyUMobile app or the UMB menu.  The plans are open to all customers, but they will have to be on the new 5G-Ready Prepaid plans. Older plans will need to upgrade to the 5G-Ready Prepaid Plan via the app.

U Mobile has set the plan price at RM20, but as an introductory promotion, customers can get the plan for only RM 15 until further notice. The plan will give customers 2,000GB of 5G data and 120GB of 4G data to use with a 30-day validity period. Like the postpaid plans, the Borneo 20 plan also has a separate data quota for use in Peninsular Malaysia – users will get 10GB of 5G/4G combined for nationwide usage, excluding Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan.

U Prepaid Borneo 20 users will also get to enjoy unlimited hotspot and calls to local networks. U Mobile did confirm that once the quota is used up, the speed will be throttled to 512Kbps until the expiry of the plan.

Users looking to subscribe to the new plan can do it via the MyUMobile app or dial *118# to manage your subscription service.
