Unifi Mobile has introduced its new Uni5G postpaid plans for families which come up to 3 free supplementary lines. Priced from RM129/month, the plans come with unlimited calls, unlimited data and hotspot of up to 250GB per month. They are also offering free 5G phones on a 24-month contract.
Uni5G Postpaid Family offers “unlimited” 5G + 4G
The base RM129/month Uni5G Postpaid Family 129 plan is listed with unlimited 5G + 4G data, unlimited calls, hotspot of up to 150GB and you get free 1 supplementary line. For an extra RM30/month, the Uni5G Postpaid Family 159 (RM159/month) offers the same perks but you get more hotspot at 200GB a month and a total of two free supplementary lines.
If that’s not enough, you can add another RM30/month for the highest Uni5G Postpaid Family 189 (RM189/month) plan which offers hotspot up to 250GB and 3 free supplementary lines.
“Unlimited” only for principal device when you sign up during the promo period
According to the FAQ, the Uni5G Family Postpaid plans come with a pooled data quota of 150GB for the RM129 plan, 200GB for the RM159 plan and 250GB for the RM189 plan. Whatever data you use on your phone or from hotspot will utilise the same data quota.
However, if you sign up for the plan by 31st January 2024, TM is providing unlimited 5G and 4G perpetually for the principal line only. Take note that the unlimited data is only for the principal line’s device only and hotspot usage will still utilise the original data quota.
The free supplementary line is essentially Uni5G Postpaid Supplementary 39 worth RM39/month. Unlike the principal line, it doesn’t get unlimited data and it comes with 30GB of 5G/4G quota per line. You can learn more by checking out the official launch promo FAQ.
Unifi Mobile boasts 95% 4G population coverage
During today’s launch event, TM shared that Unifi Mobile now has wider coverage with access to over 10,000 5G and 4G mobile sites nationwide. With its current 4G MOCN partnership with Maxis, TM claims to have 95% population coverage for 4G services. Meanwhile, its 5G coverage on Digital Nasional Berhad’s network currently stands at more than 70% population coverage.
The above family postpaid plans are available for subscription without a contract, unless you sign up for the plan with a device bundle. Some of the free 5G phones on offer include the Honor 90 Lite 5G, Oppo A98 5G, Realme 11x 5G, Redmi Note 12 5G, Samsung Galaxy A14 5G, Samsung Galaxy M14 5G and the ZTE Blade A73 5G.
