Oppo has just launched the Reno 11 series in China with two models under the series – Reno 115G and Reno 11 Pro 5G. As the successors to the Reno 10 Series, you get some good upgrades compared to the previous models.

Oppo Reno 11 Series pricing in China

The phones are available in Black, Green, or White for both variants. Different RAM/Storage combos will be available for different price points:

  • Oppo Reno 11 5G (8GB/256GB) – CNY 2,499 (about RM 1,638)
  • Oppo Reno 11 5G (12GB/256GB) – CNY 2,799 (about RM 1,834)
  • Oppo Reno 11 5G (12GB/512GB) – CNY 2,999 (about RM 1,965)
  • Oppo Reno 11 Pro 5G (12GB /256GB) – CNY 3,499 (about RM 2,311)
  • Oppo Reno 11 Pro 5G (12GB /512GB) – CNY 3799 (about RM 2,509)

The two phones can be preordered now from the official website, where the Oppo 11 Pro 5G is available for a promotional pre-order price of CNY 3,449 (about RM 2,278) for the 256GB variant and CNY 3,749 (about RM 2,476) for the 512GB model.

We may see the phones entering the Malaysian market sometime soon, if we follow precedence.

Oppo Reno 11 5G features

The Reno 11 5G comes with a 6.7-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate with a 2,412 X 1,080 pixels screen resolution, up to 800 nits brightness and a punch-hole cut out for the selfie camera.

Underneath the screen, it is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC, putting it squarely in the mid-range territory in 2023. There will be a few different RAM/Storage options for the Reno 11 5G, starting with an 8GB/256GB model going all the way to a 12GB/512GB option

Imaging with the Reno 11 5G is handled by a trio of cameras – a 50MP Sony LYT600 primary camera with a f/1.8 aperture lens, a 32MP portrait with 2x zoom camera with a f/2.0 aperture lens, and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. Selfies are handled by a 32MP sensor on the front.

Powering everything is a 4,800mAh battery, which is a slight increase from the 4,600mAh in the Reno 10. You do get 67W wired charging to fill the battery up from 0% to 50% in just 19 minutes.

Oppo Reno 11 Pro 5G features

Sharing virtually the same design as the base model, the Reno 11 Pro thankfully sees a few upgrades on certain features. The screen is a 6.74-inch OLED screen with a 2,772 x 1,240 pixels screen resolution, and up to 1,200 nits of peak brightness.

Oppo did carry over the same processor from the Reno 10 Pro+, so it has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. It is unknown why Oppo picked the same processor as the previous pro model – we suspect they have the leftover SoCs from the previous production line.

The Reno 11 Pro also features a 50MP main camera, but the sensor is now the Sony IMX890, which is a step higher than the one on the Reno 11. You do get the same cameras to complete the trio – a 32MP portrait with 2x zoom camera with a f/2.0 aperture lens, and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. Again, selfies are done with a 32MP front camera.

Oppo split the battery for the Reno 11 Pro, so it is two 2,350 mAh cells that adds up to 4,700 mAh. The Pro gets 80W fast charging, which Oppo claims to fill up the battery to 50% in just 11 minutes.
