TGV Cinemas has just unveiled Malaysia’s biggest IMAX cinema at Sunway Velocity. The theatre features IMAX with Laser and a 12-channel surround sound setup for moviegoers to enjoy higher-quality movies.
Tan Lay Han, CEO of TGV Cinemas said, “We proudly pioneered the introduction of the IMAX with Laser and 12-Channel Sound Technology at TGV Pavilion Bukit Jalil, marking a significant milestone in our recent endeavours. Now, we are excited to be the first to bring Malaysia’s biggest and latest IMAX experience to our movie-goers right here at TGV Sunway Velocity.”
The new movie hall is equipped with the IMAX with Laser system that promises sharper, clearer and crisper vision on the biggest screen. The system uses a next generation 4K laser projection system which features a new optical engine and a suite of proprietary IMAX technologies that deliver increased resolution, sharper and brighter images, as well as deeper contrast on screen.
To complement the projection system, TGV also installed a 12-channel Surround Sound system to enhance the audio delivered to the moviegoers. Now moviegoers can enjoy a more realistic, immersive, and multidimensional movie experience with the bigger IMAX screen at TGV Sunway Velocity
