Back in June, Realme announced the arrival of the Realme C53, a budget friendly entry level device with a rather premium look and a large screen to go along with it. Originally only available in just one configuration with 128GB of storage, Realme has now confirmed that it’s bringing in another version of the Realme C53, this time with double the storage and more RAM.
Realme C53 Malaysia pricing and availability
With the launch of a 256GB version of the Realme C53, Malaysians can now pick from either the standard 128GB model or the one with more RAM and double the storage for just RM100 more. Here’s how much the Realme C53 lineup now costs:
- Realme C53, 6GB RAM, 128GB storage – RM599
- Realme C53, 8GB RAM, 256GB storage – RM699
The upgraded Realme C53 will be available from 10 November onwards from all Realme brand stores, their authorised dealers as well as the official Realme store on Shopee, Lazada and TikTok.

Apart from the added memory and double the storage, the upgraded Realme C53 for the most part is identical to the one that first debuted a few months ago. This means that under the hood you’ll find a Unisoc Tiger T612 system-on-chip, and along with the added storage and RAM is also support for expandable storage of up to 2TB. It comes with Android 13 out of the box, with Realme UI T Edition skinned over it.
Its display meanwhile is a large 6.74-inch, HD+ LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 560nits. There’s also a tear drop notch that can ‘expand’ to show you information like your charging status and incoming notifications via its Realme Mini Capsule software. Inside the notch itself is an 8MP selfie shooter, while on the back is a 50MP, f/1.8 main camera flanked by a periphery black and white sensor.
Keeping the lights on is a 5,000mAh battery with 33W SuperVOOC fast charging via USB-C, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a 3.5mm audio jack and a single bottom-firing speaker that can be boosted to 150%. Available in Champion Gold and Mighty Black colourways, the Realme C53 weighs in at 182g and measures 7.49mm thick.
