If you’re someone who uses your front camera more than anything else—maybe for your IG stories or to shoot your next viral TikTok—you’ll typically want to get a flagship smartphone such as the Samsung S23 Ultra and Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max. However, if you’re on a budget, the Infinix Zero 30 5G may be more up your alley as despite its lower price, its selfie camera can still do 4K 60FPS video recording.
Infinix Zero 30 5G Malaysia pricing and availability
The Infinix Zero 30 5G is now available for purchase in Malaysia. Priced at RM1,299, you’ll be able to find it on sale from the official Infinix Malaysia TikTok store as well as their authorised retail partners nationwide. As part of its first sales promotion, if you get the Infinix Zero 30 5G from one of their authorised dealers you’ll be able to snag a free black leather bag while stocks last.
Infinix Zero 30 5G specs
The Infinix Zero 30 5G features a large 6.78-inch, curved AMOLED display pushing an FHD+ resolution and is capable of an up to 144Hz refresh rate too, with a 360Hz touch sampling rate, a 10,000,000:1 contrast ratio, full coverage of the DCI-P3 colour gamut, 2160Hz PWM dimming for more eye comfort as well as a peak brightness of 950nits. There’s also a layer of unspecified version of Corning Gorilla Glass over it for scratch resistance.
Under the hood is a MediaTek Dimensity 8020 system-on-chip, mated to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The Infinix Zero 30 5G will come with Android 13 out of the box, skinned with XOS 13 over it. Curiously, the device comes preloaded with Infinix’s own Folax app, a personal assistant of sorts powered by ChatGPT.
It’s really in the camera department though where the Infinix Zero 30 5G shines, and I’m not even talking about the rear cameras. The Infinix Zero 30 5G is one of the few smartphones in this price segment to feature 4K 60FPS video recording via its 50MP, f/2.5 front camera, something even flagships like the OnePlus 11 or Xiaomi 13T Pro can’t do. On the back though is a more standard triple rear camera setup, with a 108MP, f/1.75 main camera flanked by a 13MP, f/2.4 ultrawide shooter and a 2MP,f/2.4 portrait sensor.
Elsewhere, keeping the lights on is a 5,000mAh battery with 68W fast charging. The Infinix Zero 30 5G also comes with stereo speakers, IP53 dust and water resistance, an in-display fingerprint sensor and support for WiFi 6, Bluetooth, NFC and 5G wireless connectivity. Available in Golden Hour, Rome Green and Fantasy Purple colourways, the Infinix Zero 30 5G measures 7.9mm thick and weighs in at 185g.
