Back in December last year, Realme launched the Realme 10 Pro+ and the Realme 10 Pro, which was quicky followed by the Realme 10 in February this year. These midrange smartphones have since been superseded by the Realme 11 family, which is perhaps why the Chinese brand have now permanently slashed the price tags on the two of the three members of the Realme 10 series.
Realme 10 series new Malaysia pricing and availability
The Realme 10 and the Realme 10 Pro have been given new, lower price tags in Malaysia. The Realme 10 with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage is now priced at RM899, RM100 less than before. As for its more premium sibling, the Realme 10 Pro now goes for RM1,099, down from RM1,299 when it first launched. You’ll be able to find these reduced recommended retail prices at both physical Realme stores nationwide as well as their official online stores on Shopee and Lazada.
Realme 10 Pro specs
The Realme 10 Pro features a large 6.72-inch LCD display, pushing an FHD+ resolution capable of a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 680 nits. Powering it meanwhile is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 system-on-chip with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, running Android 13 out of the box skinned with Realme UI 4.0 over it.
In the camera department, the Realme 10 Pro features a 108MP, f/1.75 main camera flanked by a secondary 2MP portrait camera with a 16MP, f/2.45 selfie camera in front. Realme 10 specs
As for the runt of the litter, the Realme 10 is a little smaller than the Realme 10 Pro at 6.4-inches, but on the—quite literally—bright side, it uses an AMOLED panel instead. This FHD+ display is capable of pushing a 90Hz refresh rate, a peak brightness of 1,000nits and has a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 over it for scratch resistance. Under the hood, the Realme 10 gets a MediaTek Helio G99 system-on-chip, mated to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage and Android 12 out of the box; this chipset also means that the Realme 10 is an LTE-only device.
Turn the Realme 10 around and you’ll find a dual rear camera setup, with a main 50MP, f/1.8 camera flanked alongside a 2MP black and white sensor while in front is a 16MP, f/2.45 selfie shooter. Keeping the lights on is a 5,000mAh battery with 33W SuperVOOC fast charging too, with other features of note including a 3.5mm audio jack, a single bottom-firing “200% Ultraboom” speaker and support for 4G LTE, WiFi 5 and Bluetooth 5.3.
