Maxis is currently facing service disruption, affecting both data and calls

Maxis customers are currently experiencing difficulties accessing the telco’s services according to numerous reports over the social media. Based on our observations, the network issues seemed to affect both data and call services.

It is also unclear whether the outage only affected certain area or otherwise. Based on the feedbacks from SoyaCincau.com’s readers on Facebook and Twitter, we might be looking at large-scale outage.

Even though the network issue seemed to have been going on since few hours ago, the telco has yet to release any official statement. There is also no notice shown on the Network Maintenance’s section of Maxis official website which means that the downtime is likely not related to any scheduled maintenance activities.

Nevertheless, Maxis customer service agents on Twitter and Facebook have said that the telco is already aware of the network issue and is currently working to rectify the problem.
