If you are a racing game enthusiast, having the right chair to race in is pretty important. What if you are living in a place with limited space to play around – but you still want a racing game chair? You can now bake the cake and have it too with the new Logitech Playseat Challenge X.

The chair would not look out of place at a BBQ thanks to the bare metal construction and plastic materials. It comes with all the mounts for your wheel, pedals and even a shifter, but once you take those off, you tan fold it up like those chairs you see at kenduris or school functions, and store it somewhere out of the way.

It is basically a retool of Playseat’s non-Logitech branded gaming chair – and the latter is cheaper to boot. However, this version comes with a tilting pedal bracket and a gearshift mount. The chair itself is compatible with Logitech’s G wheels and other accessories that connect to the wheel. This includes the pedals as well.

The back is made with some sort of breathable material called ActiFit that is cooling, especially during those intense gaming sessions. The frame is made out of carbon steel while the hinges are made with flow-forged aluminium.

The adjustment levels are not as extensive as some chairs, but it should be enough for gamers to choose between (there are six different levels). It can fit a maximum height of about 220 cm, and up to 163 kg – so just about everyone can sit in it comfortably.
