This post is brought to you by Unifi.
Continuing its multi-year journey to transform itself into a human-centred TechCo, TM took the bold step to design a next-generation retail experience from the ground up, opening the first-ever Unifi Store in IOI City Mall Putrajaya in June of this year. Shortly after that, TM opened several other Unifi stores in the Klang Valley.
However, its most recent store at KLCC further elevates the retail store experience, offering more experiential areas. The first-of-its-kind Unifi Concept Store at KLCC was built with the intention of being an arena for discovery. Besides sales and services, customers will be able to interact with new technology curated for both consumer and enterprise segments.
With that in mind, here is what you can expect to find and experience when you walk into the Unifi Concept Store at KLCC.
A warm and welcoming environment
Before all the tech and big screens catch your attention, the ambience of the Unifi Concept Store will first draw you in. Employing music, scents and gestures of hospitality, Unifi aims to deliver a more up-market and memorable retail experience.
Aligning with TM’s social, economic and environmental commitments, the store was built using natural materials and finished with eco-friendly elements, which helps TM promote sustainable products.
A space for customers to discover Unifi’s latest range of offerings
To allow customers to get hands-on with the latest IoT, entertainment, and mobile technology, the Unifi Concept Store was purpose-built with spaces for customers to discover Unifi’s latest range of offerings. Customers can try out the Sony PlayStation 5, ASUS ExpertBoook laptop, the latest networking equipment for broadband, and IoT gadgets like smart home devices.
Moreover, a slew of the latest 5G smartphones and wearables from Unifi Mobile are also on display for customers to try out. You can find devices from popular brands such as Samsung, Sony, and Xiaomi.
Besides physical products, you can also check out Unifi’s digital offerings such as their TV entertainment service, Unifi TV. Discover content offered by the IPTV service on large Sharp Aquos 4K TVs hooked up to a Unifi Plus Box.
The Unifi Concept Store also provides a dedicated Unifi Business lounge for MSME customers to learn about digital marketing and business development. Additionally, there’s an education lounge as well as for both consumers and clients to discover new tools and interact with experts.
Seamless and easy customer service
The days of collecting your number from a little printer at the entrance and then waiting for your number to be blasted on the speakers are gone. Instead, you simply walk into the Unifi Concept Store at KLCC and scan a QR code. Once you fill-up the online form and submit it, a queue number will be sent to you via SMS.
While waiting for your number to be called, you can check out all the experiential areas at the Unifi Concept Store in KLCC. These experiential areas are called the Meeting Point, Next Tech, and Next Living. But should you need to walk out of the store to run errands, you are free to do so. When your turn comes up, you’ll be notified through SMS.
Alternatively, you can also pre-book your appointments beforehand using the myUnifi app or the Unifi portal to skip the queue.
For general services, you don’t even need to walk up to a designated counter or take a number. Just look for the self-service kiosk and quickly complete your tasks. These self-service kiosks can cater to those who want to pay their Unifi bills, top up their Unifi Mobile prepaid plan, or redeem Unifi Rewards.
However, you are not just limited to Unifi’s services. The kiosk also allows you to pay your utility bills, top-up Touch ‘n Go cards, purchase TnG eWallet reloads, obtain gaming credits, and many more.
What’s in store for Unifi next?
One of the first agendas on TM’s list as it embarks on the next phase of its journey is to expand these retail experiences to other states across the country. Meanwhile, TM has also planned to open Express stores that will provide quick purchase, payment, and servicing capabilities to customers.
Moreover, each Unifi store will be customised to reflect the unique culture and needs of the region. Incorporating Agile practices, TM said that it will continuously improve in-store experiences according to changes in consumer behaviour, in addition to everything that the company hopes to discover from the feedback provided by its customers.
Look out for more information on these customer and retail experiences and other future Unifi Stores being unveiled in your locality soon.
