[ UPDATE 21:25 02/10/2023 ] This building is now officially known as the Tesla Centre Cyberjaya. Take a closer look right here.

Tesla has installed a massive signboard at its new Malaysian headquarters in Cyberjaya. The move has directly revealed the exact location of the office which has generally been under wraps even though the company has a massive walk-in recruitment session back in June.
The confirmation that Cyberjaya has been chosen as the location for Tesla Malaysia’s headquarters came directly from Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim. At that time, he said that it was the CEO of Tesla, Elon Musk himself that informed him of the decision during a virtual meeting.
As for its location, Tesla Cyberjaya is located within the Global Solution Center compound which is just behind Cyberjaya Fire & Rescue Station. The compound also houses tech giants such as Tech Mahindra and NTT Data Services.
Meanwhile, we have managed to get a quick glimpse inside the building tonight and it still looks quite bare though. In fact, it seems that there is still plenty of work that needs to be done.
Hence, we are not sure if the office would be ready for the estimated October opening date as mentioned by PM Anwar last month. In another interview, the PM said that the Cyberjaya office will be opened in late October or early November.
For those who are wondering, here’s what the building looks like in daytime:
Over the years, Tesla already established several offices throughout Asia including Taipei, Seoul, Tokyo, Hong Kong, and Beijing according to the Contact page on Tesla Malaysia’s website. However, the new facility at Cyberjaya is not yet listed on the website for the time being.
Aside from the Cyberjaya office, Tesla’s first showroom in Malaysia is also currently under construction at Pavilion Damansara Heights Mall. While Tesla didn’t respond to our queries when we reached out for further clarification, the shopping mall itself will be opened to the public on 8 October.
