Realme Pad 2 specs
The Realme Pad 2’s biggest upgrade compared to the original Realme Pad from 2021 is a quite literal one—its display. The new tablet now has a larger 11.5-inch, LCD display pushing a 2000 x 1200p with support for up to a 120Hz refresh rate, as well as a peak brightness of 450nits.
Under the hood it comes with a MediaTek Helio G99 system-on-chip, mated to up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage with support for up to 1TB of external memory too. It runs Android 13 out of the box, skinned with Realme UI 4.0 for Pad over it. On the back meanwhile is a 8MP rear camera, while in front is an 5MP camera for your selfie and video conferencing needs.
Elsewhere, there’s a quad-speaker setup with Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Audio. Keeping the lights on meanwhile is a 8,360mAh with support for 33W SuperVOOC fast charging as well as wired reverse charging. Measuring 7.2mm thick and weighing in at 518g, it will be available in Inspiration Green and Imagination Grey.
The Realme Pad 2 though will be facing some serious competition in the Android tablet space, with the significantly more powerful Xiaomi Pad 6 starting at RM1,299 also. It comes with a higher resolution 11-inch, WQHD LCD display that can do a 144Hz refresh rate, and has a more powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 under the hood too, though it does lack 4G support. If 4G support is a key criteria for you, then the Honor Pad X9 has that, along with a Snapdragon 685 under the hood with a similar 11.5-inch LCD display for just RM1,099.
