It was just last month that Realme launched the Realme 11 Pro+ 5G with its 200MP camera along with the Realme 11 Pro 5G, but the Chinese brand is now teasing the imminent arrival of those two devices’ little brother, the Realme 11 5G.
In conjunction with Realme’s 5th anniversary, they will be having a ‘Leap Up’ launch event where they will be unveiling the Realme 11 5G in Malaysia. It will be happening just a day before Merdeka Day on 30 August 2023, 12pm. You’ll be able to catch the launch yourself on Realme Malaysia’s Facebook and TikTok pages.
As for what the Realme 11 5G will offer, while it won’t have the same 200MP chops like its bigger brother, the midrange device should still be packing a solid 108MP main camera on the back using the Samsung ISOCELL HM6 sensor that has a 1/1.67-inch image sensor, allowing for ‘lossless’ digital zoom up till 3x. That will get flanked by a 2MP portrait camera, while a 16MP selfie shooter sits in front.
You can also expect the Realme 11 5G to come with a large 6.72-inch, FHD+ LCD display capable of a 120Hz refresh rate, along with a peak brightness of 680nits. Under the hood, the Realme 11 5G will come with a MediaTek Dimensity 6100 processor mated with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. A 5,000mAh battery meanwhile keeps the lights on with support for 67W SuperVOOC fast charging that lets it go from 0 to 50% in just 17 minutes.
Available in gold and black colourways, you’ll have to wait till 30 August to find out how much the Realme 11 5G will cost. In the meantime, you can visit its product page on the Realme Malaysia website to learn more.
