It appears that Google Play Pass is rolling out in Malaysia and it is essentially’s Google’s version of Apple Arcade where you can get access to hundreds of games on your Android smartphone for a monthly subscription fee. Some users in Malaysia can already subscribe to the game subscription pass and it costs almost half the price of Apple Arcade.

As highlighted by @mrjuzmafia, the Google Play Pass is priced at RM10.99/month and first-time users can try the first month for free. If you want to save more, Google offers a yearly subscription for only RM99/year which is a savings of 25%. The Google Play Pass gives you access to a collection of hundreds of games with no ads and no in-app payment.

The pass can be shared with up to 5 family members so everyone can also enjoy the games on their own devices. Some of the notable games listed include Monument Valley 2, Stardew Valley, Portal Knights, Teslagrad, Limbo, Forgotten Anne, The Gardens Between and more.

At the time of writing, the Google Play Pass isn’t available to everyone in Malaysia just yet. Even on the Google Play Pass official page, it says Malaysia isn’t supported yet. To check if it is available to you, you can go to your Google Play Store on your Android smartphone, click on your profile icon on the top right corner and you should see “Play Pass” between “Library and Settings”.

Thanks @mrjuzmafia for the tip!
