Six new lenses under the T-series line were introduced by Moment, alongside a new lens mount interface as well as updated accessories. The new lenses are designed to help mobile photographers and filmmakers level up the quality of their content taken with their mobile devices.

The new T-series lenses series is Moment’s third generation, created to bring mobile photography and filmmaking closer to what can be captured on a stand-alone camera. Moment has designed new lenses and mounting systems for both iPhones and Android devices.

“We made everything about T-Series better for newer camera phones. By designing these around a wider field of views, larger high-resolution sensors, and more advanced image stabilization systems, we were able to achieve a new level of quality and compatibility across a wider array of camera phones,” said Moment.

The six lenses introduced are:

  • Anamorphic 1.33x
  • Anamorphic 1.55x
  • 58mm Telephoto
  • 18mm wide
  • 14mm fisheye
  • 10x Macro

Not only the lens will perform better than previous generations, but Moment also said that you should get sharper photos and crisper videos. This is achieved by using more glass in the construction. The high-quality, low-dispersion fluorite optical glass should deliver better performance with reduced chromatic aberrations and distortion edge-to-edge. Moment also said that they are using the same materials that Sony is using in its GM lenses.

On to the mounting system – Moment said that the bayonet interface is 20% bigger, supporting wider main cameras and any sensor-shift stabilization systems. The bigger diameter also allows more light into the sensor, reducing the chance of vignetting.

Moment’s T-series is compatible with the iPhone 12 onwards, along with recent Android models such as the Pixel 7, 7 pro and the Samsung Galaxy S23 series among others. The new T-Series 14mm fisheye and 10x Macro lenses are priced at USD120 (about RM557.28) while the 18mm wide is priced at USD140 (about RM650.16). Both the 1.55x and 1.33x anamorphic lenses as well as the 58mm telephoto cost USD150 (about RM696.90). All six lenses can be found on Moment’s website.
