Acer Predator Triton 17 X specs

The Acer Predator Triton 17 X is very much a mobile powerhouse, packing some of the very best silicon you can find today. It features a 13th Gen Intel Core i9-13900HX processor mated to 64GB of 5600MHz DDR5 RAM, as well as 4TB of PCIe Gen4 SSD configured in RAID 0. For graphics meanwhile you’ll find an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 GPU with 16GB of GDDR6 VRAM. With a total TDP of 330W, the Predator Triton 17 X is kept cool with a triple fan cooling system and Acer’s Vortex Flow technology.

Despite all the hardware under the hood, the Predator Triton 17 X still comes in a reasonably portable chassis measuring in at 19.9mm thick. Built out of sandblasted CNC metal, it also has a micro-etched RGB Predator logo along with a stainless steel speaker grill. As for its display, the Predator Triton 17 X gets a huge 17-inch, WQXGA miniLED display that can push a 250Hz refresh rate as well as a peak brightness of over 1,000nits. It also features full coverage of the DCI-P3 colour gamut, and is Eyesafe certified for reduced blue light emissions.

Other features of note include a 99.98Wh battery that is rated for four hours of battery life—not too surprising considering how power hungry its silicon are. You’ll also of course get an RGB-backlit keyboard, a fingerprint reader, a 1080p webcam and support for WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.1. As for I/O, the Predator Triton 17 X has an Ethernet port, a HDMI 2.1 port, an SD card reader, two USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 ports, two USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 ports and a 3.5m audio jack.
