The Mac Pro 2023 is now available for purchase in Malaysia and this is Apple’s ultimate workhorse which now runs on the M2 Ultra. The Mac Pro 2023 also marks the Cupertino company’s complete transition from Intel to Apple Silicon.
The new Mac Pro comes in either a tower or rack form factor, and it is officially priced from RM32,999 in Malaysia. It is available for purchase via the online Apple Store and it takes an estimated 2-3 weeks to ship for both versions.
The base RM32,999 option comes with a 24-core CPU, 60-core GPU, and 32-core Neutral Engine. You can upgrade to the 76-core GPU version of the M2 Ultra for an additional RM4,000. The base option gets 64GB unified memory and 1TB SSD, and you can upgrade it to the maximum 192GB unified memory and 8TB SSD.
A fully maxed-out configuration for the Mac Studio tower would set you back RM54,348 which includes all the bells and whistles such as a Magic Mouse, Magic Trackpad and Magic Keyboard, plus the stainless steel frame with wheels, which is an extra RM1,600 option. The rack version maxes out at RM54,748 which includes the Magic Mouse, Magic Trackpad and Magic Keyboard.
To complete your setup, you can add on Apple’s 32″ 6K Pro Display XDR which costs RM19,999 for standard glass or RM25,999 for the nano-textured glass option.
