Samsung is set to unveil its upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5 during its Galaxy Unpacked event scheduled for 26th July. Ahead of the global launch, Samsung has released a pre-launch promo video for its next Galaxy Z Flip which shows how irresistible it is even for those who don’t like a Samsung.
The latest video marks Season 2 of the “Join the flip side” series showing a bunch of friends at summer camp. In a Bird Box-inspired story, anyone, including those who are resistant to buying a Samsung, would be possessed into making the “switch” if they saw the Galaxy Z Flip. Along the way, they couldn’t resist the “Flip” references and eventually one of them ends up with the latest Z Flip model.
The Galaxy Z Flip series remains one of the most popular modern flip phones and Samsung is expected to up the ante with a larger cover display. Similar to the Galaxy Z Fold 5, the new device is expected to run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy. The upcoming Galaxy Unpacked is happening in South Korea for the first time and you can watch it live at 7pm Malaysian time on 26th July.
