Besides introducing faster fibre broadband packages up to 1Gbps, CelcomDigi is now offering more home device add-ons which also include the Sony PlayStation 5. If you’re on an eligible Celcom or Digi postpaid plan, you can get 300Mbps fibre broadband with the PS5 for as low as RM190/month.
The Sony PlayStation 5 available for add-on is the Digital Edition which “retails” for RM2,418 and it comes with a “complimentary” DualSense Controller. The PS5 Digital Edition officially retails for RM2,069 and it appears that CelcomDigi has added the DualSense Wireless Controller price to the total RRP to give a perceived higher value.
If you prefer to get it outright on the contract, the PS5 costs RM2,155 which is a savings of RM263 for the full package. Alternatively, you can get it on a 12-month instalment for RM180/month or on a 24-month instalment for RM90/month.
This is heaps better than the PS5 bundle offered by Unifi Fibre Broadband. However, CelcomDigi’s offering isn’t as generous as Maxis which offers the PS5 for as low as RM4/month on a 36-month Zerolution contract.
CelcomDigi is also offering a Xiaomi Clean & Cool Bundle which consists of a Xiaomi Smart Tower Fan and a Xiaomi Smart Air Purifier which retails for RM898. On CelcomDigi fibre, you can add it on for RM811 (save RM87), or pay for it on a 12-month instalment at RM68/month.
The Smart TV add-on is the same as before and you can add a Samsung 50″ 4K UHD for RM64/month on 24-month instalments. There are other TV options such as a 55″ Samsung 4K UHD Smart TV, Hisense 55″ 4K UHD Google TV and 65″ Samsung 4K UHD Smart TV.
Take note that the instalment program isn’t offered directly by CelcomDigi as the 12 or 24-month 0% interest easy payment options made possible via Maybank or CIMB Credit Cards. If you prefer to buy the add-on outright, you can make payment via online payment, all Visa and Mastercard debit and credit cards, as well as Boost or GrabPay eWallets.
According to the FAQ, only CelcomDigi fibre subscribers on a 300Mbps plan and above are entitled to purchase these add-ons. Each customer is eligible to purchase up to 3 add-ons per CelcomDigi fibre account.
