Lenovo Yoga Book 9i: World’s first full-sized dual OLED display laptop, priced at RM9,499

Have you ever looked at your laptop and thought, man if only this thing had two screens instead of this ancient keyboard and touchpad? Well if you have, then Lenovo might just have the laptop for you: introducing the Lenovo Yoga Book 9i, the world’s first laptop with not one, but two full-sized dual displays.

Dual display laptops have been a thing for some time now of course, with the Asus ROG Zephyrus Duo lineup perhaps the most well known. But while that keeps a physical keyboard and instead has a secondary screen between it the primary display, the Yoga Book 9i straight up has two full sized, 13.3-inch, 2880 x 1800 OLED touchscreen displays that cover 100% of the DCI-P3 colour gamut, with a peak brightness of 400nits and HDR 500 support.

Lenovo is pushing the Yoga Book 9i’s flexibility—both figuratively and literally. According to them you’ll be able to use the Yoga Book 9i in a multitude of ways, be it as two standard 16:9 displays stacked one on top of the other, two vertical monitors next to each other, as a tablet, as a sketchpad with the included stylus, a ‘tent’ mode for presentations, or simply as a laptop. Even just as a regular laptop, you’re able to magnetically attach the included Bluetooth keyboard and get a virtual touchpad, or simply use a virtual keyboard along with the touchscreen instead.

As for the hardware under the hood, the Yoga Book 9i comes with a 13th Gen Intel Core i7-1355U processor, mated to 16GB of 6400MHz LPDDR5X RAM and a 1TB PCIe Gen4 SSD, with graphics taken care of by the integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics. You’ll also find Windows 11 Pro out of the box, with a lot of software wizardry here too to get it to get your windows to switch around with the displays seamlessly.

Other features of note include an 80Wh battery that they rate for up to 15.5 hours of video playback when in single screen laptop mode, or up to 10.5 hours when using both displays. You’ll also find a ‘soundbar’ built into the hinge between the two displays, housing a pair of 2W woofers and a pair of 2W tweeters tuned by Bowers & Wilkins. For I/O, you get three USB-C Thunderbolt 4 ports, along with support for WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2. There’s a 5MP webcam with IR too along with a privacy shutter over it.

The Lenovo Yoga Book 9i is priced at RM9,499, and is now available at the Lenovo Malaysia website, their Lenovo Exclusive stores as well as their official stores on Lazada and Shopee.
