This post is brought to you by Touch ‘n Go.
If you live or work in Malaysia, you probably have a Touch ‘n Go card or two on you or in your car to pay for tolls, public transport, and most parking lots. Therefore, many of us choose to keep a high balance on the card to avoid getting stuck when making payments.
So, did you know that you can better manage your cards by registering them on the Touch ‘n Go Card Portal? Here are 4 services you can access through the portal.
Get an overview of all registered cards
There is no limit to the number of cards you can register in the Touch ‘n Go Card Portal. Therefore, you can register all the cards with you or in your household for easy management. If your kids take public transport to school, this is an easy way to monitor the cards’ balance to ensure they always have sufficient funds.
Besides that, you can check on the card status – whether it is active or inactive, the last transaction date, and the expiry date.
View your transaction history
For those needing a receipt to file for claims, a transaction history of up to 12 months is available. Here, you can view every payment you’ve made with the card for tolls, parking, and public transport. Once you’ve found the transaction, you can easily export it to Microsoft Excel or as a PDF.
Touch ‘n Go also provides the total reload amount and usage amount for the range of time you choose. So, if you quickly need to know how much you spent last month, you can find out with just a glance at the summary table at the top.
File for a refund for a registered card
If you encounter issues with your Touch ‘n Go card regarding the balance or transactions, you can quickly get help since the card’s records are accessible by the Client Care Associate.
So in the event that your card has expired, or is lost or stolen, you can submit a refund request via the Touch ‘n Go Card Portal, which is good news for anyone who maintains a high balance. Additionally, you can also request a refund for any wrong charges on your card.
Change ownership of cards
Say you want to pass your card to a friend or your all-grown-up kids, you can easily transfer ownership of the card to them. This allows them to manage the card themselves and have access to all the services offered by Touch ‘n Go. Moreover, once you’ve transferred ownership of the card, you are no longer liable or responsible for that Touch ‘n Go card.
To perform an online ownership transfer for a Touch ‘n Go card, just make sure that the new owner has an active account on the Touch ‘n Go Portal. When you complete the ownership transfer application, the process is completed almost instantaneously, and the new owner will receive an email notification as soon as the transfer is complete.
Only cards with an “ACTIVE” status and registered to a private Touch ‘n Go Portal account are applicable for ownership transfer. Do note that Fleet Card, Biz Card, Zing Card, PLUSTrack Card, and MyKad are not eligible as well.
Grab this opportunity to win a smartphone from Touch ‘n Go
Before you can link your Touch ‘n Go card, you will first need to create an account on the Touch ‘n Go Card Portal. It takes less than 5 minutes to create an account as the process is quick and easy.
Moreover, from now until the 30th of June 2023, Touch ‘n Go will be giving away a smartphone to three lucky people who created a brand-new account on the Touch n’ Go Card Portal and linked a valid card. You’ll be notified if you’ve been chosen as one of the three winners via email from [email protected] along with a simple question for you to answer.
