JomCharge has also announced free EV charging for the Raya holiday season along the North-South Expressway. For four days between 21st to 24th April 2023, owners of electric vehicles can get a quick top-up at 12 EV chargers located at selected Caltex, BHP and Petronas R&R stations.

Here’s the list of EV chargers on the JomCharge network that offer free charging:

  • Caltex Ayer Keroh (North Bound)
  • Caltex Ayer Keroh (South Bound)
  • Caltex Bukit Gantang (North Bound)
  • Caltex Bukit Gantang (South Bound)
  • Caltex R&R Skudai (South Bound)
  • BHP R&R Skudai
  • Mini Cooper R&R Skudai (South Bound)
  • Petronas Juru Layby (North Bound)
  • Petronas R&R Gunung Semanggol (South Bound)
  • Petronas Gambang (East Bound)
  • Petronas Pedas Linggi Layby (North Bound)
  • Petronas Gambang (West Bound)

You can activate these chargers using the JomCharge app that’s available on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

As always, do practice good EV charging etiquette and take note that there will be more EVs on the road during the peak holiday season. Move your vehicle once you’re done charging and avoid charging your EV all the way up to 100%. The charging rate will be significantly slower between 80-100% and do be considerate of others that also require to use the charger to complete their journey home.

In case you missed it, TNB Electron is also offering free DC EV Charging while Shell Recharge offers 100% rebate for its DC fast chargers along PLUS highway.

Stay alert and travel safe!
