If you need broadband at home but don’t have access to fibre, Yes 5G is currently having a promo for its Wireless Fibre 5G service. Originally priced at RM148 per month, you can enjoy unlimited 5G wireless broadband for only RM99 per month for the first six months.

The Yes Wireless Fibre offers unlimited 5G data which comes with a speed cap of 120Mbps. If your connection drops to 4G, it offers uncapped speeds but up to a quota of 150GB per month.

The wireless 5G broadband plan comes with a free Yes Infinite 5G WiFi 6 router worth RM1,199 and it is tied to a 24-month contract. Yes is also offering a 7 days return policy if you don’t get good coverage or if the performance is slow.

As mentioned earlier, the RM99 per month rate is only for the first 6 months of subscription and you’ll have to pay RM148 per month after that. If you need extra mobile postpaid lines, Yes is also offering a bundle where you can get a wireless 5G broadband and two Infinite Basic postpaid plans for RM190 per month with a 24-month contract.

Yes 5G taps on Digital Nasional Berhad’s 5G network and you can check if you’re covered here. According to the Communications and Digital Minister Fahmi Fadzil, DNB currently has 55% 5G population coverage as of the end of March 2023. Malaysia currently aims to achieve 80% 5G population coverage by the end of this year.

For more info, you can visit Yes 5G’s Wireless Fibre page.
