Acer Swift Go 14: Budget friendly everyday laptop with AMD processors, priced from RM3,199

During CES 2023, Acer surprisingly revamped their Swift lineup of laptops, with the Swift 3—seen as their affordable, thin-and-light laptop—now known as the Swift Go. After a couple of months, Acer is finally bringing the Swift Go 14 to our shores.

Acer Swift Go 14 Malaysia pricing and availability

The Acer Swift Go 14 will be made available later this month, and you can get them from the Acer eStore as well as their official store on Shopee and Lazada. Here’s how much they’ll cost:

  • Acer Swift Go 14, AMD Ryzen 5 7530U, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD – RM3,399
  • Acer Swift Go 14, AMD Ryzen 7 7730U, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD – RM3,999

Acer Swift Go 14 specs

The Acer Swift Go 14 features an aluminium chassis that’s just 14.9mm thick and 1.25kg heavy, housing a 14-inch, FHD IPS display with a 100% coverage of the sRGB colour gamut as well as bezels that are just 4.15mm thin for a 90% screen-to-body ratio. You’ll find it available in either Pure Silver or Prodigy Pink colourways.

Under the hood meanwhile you’ll find that this is the AMD-powered versions of the Swift Go 14, rather than the one with Intel silicon that first debuted in CES 2023. Here, Acer has packed in your choice of either the AMD Ryzen 5 7530U or the Ryzen 7 7730U, with up to 16GB of LPDDR4X RAM and a 512GB PCIe NVMe Gen4 SSD across all models. It comes with Windows 11 out of the box together with a copy of Microsoft Office 2021 Home and Student edition.

Elsewhere, the Swift Go 14 features two USB-C ports, two USB-A ports, a HDMI 2.1 port and a 3.5mm headphone jack too. You’ll also find a fingerprint reader for Windows Hello, while keeping the lights on is a battery that Acer claims will last you for up to 13 hours of use. There’s an FHD webcam too with temporal noise reduction technology for clearer video calls, as well as support for WiFi 6E connectivity.
