Good news for Electric Vehicle (EV) drivers heading towards Kuantan. The 180kW DC Fast Charger at Petronas Gambang Eastbound is now back online after it became unavailable due to canopy site construction works. Previously, it was announced that the charger will be down until the 19th April 2023 and a portable 22kW Kempower DC Charger was deployed as an interim solution.
The 180kW DC Charger which is under Gentari’s network has two nozzles pushing 90kW each and it costs RM2.20 per minute. These chargers can be activated via Setel (Google Play Store, Apple App Store) or JomCharge (Google Play Store, Apple App Store).
For those travelling back to Kuala Lumpur, the Petronas Gambang Westbound station also has a 50kW DC Charger. The 50kW charger costs RM1.20 per minute and it comes with AC (Type 2) and DC (CCS and CHAdeMO) nozzles.
