Samsung Galaxy A34 Specs
The Samsung Galaxy A34 is the cheaper model among the two and it gets a 6.6″ Full HD+ Super AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1,000 nits. Unlike the Galaxy A54, this model gets a tear-drop notch which houses a 13MP selfie camera.
Under the hood, the Galaxy A34 runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 1080 processor paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage which is expandable up to 1TB via microSD. For taking pictures, it gets a triple-camera setup consisting of a 48MP main camera with OIS, 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 5MP macro shooter.
Powering the device is a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging support via USB-C. As you would expect from a Samsung, the Galaxy A34 gets IP67 dust and water resistance, stereo speakers, 5G, WiFi 5 and NFC. Out of the box, it runs on Samsung’s OneUI 5.1 that’s based on Android 13.
Samsung Galaxy A54 Specs
Moving up a notch is the Samsung Galaxy A54 which gets a slightly smaller 6.4″ Full HD+ Super AMOLED display that’s also capable of pushing 120Hz refresh rate and 1,000 nits of peak brightness. Unlike the Galaxy A34, it gets a punch-hole on the screen which houses a higher-resolution 32MP selfie camera.
Instead of a MediaTek chip, the Galaxy A54 runs on Samsung’s own Exynos 1380 processor with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Like its cheaper model, the device also offers microSD card expansion up to 1TB. The Galaxy A54 also gets a triple-camera setup which features a higher resolution 50MP main camera with OIS, 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a 5MP macro camera.
The battery is also the same with a 5,000mAh capacity unit and it also supports 25W fast charging via USB-C. The device also gets IP67-rated dust and water resistance, stereo speakers, 5G and NFC but the Galaxy A54 has support for faster WiFi 6. Similar to the A34 and their latest flagships, it also runs on Samsung’s latest One UI 5.1 based on Android 13.
