Asus Zenbook 14 Flip OLED: 2-in-1 laptop with 13th Gen Intel processors priced at RM5,499

Fresh off launching their flagship mainstream Zenbook 14X OLED laptop, Asus Malaysia has now also announced the new Zenbook 14 Flip OLED, their latest 2-in-1 convertible laptop. It’s been refreshed to feature the new 13th Gen Intel Core processors, with Asus calling it the ‘perfect’ OLED convertible for professionals.

With the Zenbook 14 Flip OLED, you’ll be greeted to a 14-inch OLED display pushing a 2880 x 1800p resolution in a 16:10 aspect ratio. It’s capable of a 90Hz refresh rate and a 0.2ms response time, with up to 550nits of peak HDR brightness and a 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 colour gamut. The display also boasts a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio and is VESA certified for DisplayHDR True Black 500. The Zenbook 14 Flip OLED is touch capable too with Asus Pen 2.0 stylus support, and you’ll even find a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass over it for scratch resistance.

Under the hood meanwhile the Zenbook 14 Flip OLED packs an Intel Core i5-1340P processor mated to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM running at 4800MT/s, together with a 512GB NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD. As for graphics, you have Intel Iris Xe integrated graphics. You also get Windows 11 Home out of the box. Keeping the lights on meanwhile is a 75Wh battery with 65W USB-C fast charging that can get you back up to 60% battery charge in just 49 minutes.

Elsewhere, the Zenbook 14 Flip OLED has an FHD camera with IR functionality for Windows Hello, speakers tuned by Harmon Kardon, a backlit chiclet keyboard with 1.4mm key travel along with support for WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.0. As for I/O, the Zenbook 14 Flip OLED packs a USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 port, two Thunderbolt 4 ports with support for display and power delivery, a HDMI 2.1 port and a 3.5mm combo audio jack.

The chassis itself measures just 15.9mm thin and weighs roughly 1.5kg, with the Zenbook 14 Flip OLED available in a Foggy Silver finish together with the Asus monogram on the cover. Priced at just RM5,499, the Zenbook 14 Flip OLED will be available for purchase later this month.
