If you’re looking for a Windows laptop with a touch-screen display, Huawei Malaysia is currently running a pre-order for its “upgraded” Huawei MateBook 14 2021. As the name implies, this is a two-year-old model that was launched back in 2021 and Huawei is offering a RM700 discount for a limited time.

The Huawei MateBook 14 2021 with a Core i5 processor, 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD is officially priced at RM3,999 but it can be yours for only RM3,299 when you buy it during the pre-order period which runs until 8th March 2023. On top of that, they are offering extra freebies worth up to RM398 which include a Huawei Bluetooth Mouse and Huawei backpack.

Huawei Matebook 14 2021 Malaysia Specs
The Huawei Matebook 14 2021 features a 14″ 3:2 IPS panel that pushes a resolution of 2160×1440 pixels and a maximum brightness of 300 nits. For the touch-screen model, it supports 10-point multi-touch with finger gestures for screenshots.
Under the hood, it runs on an 11th gen Intel Core i5-1135G7 processor and Intel Iris Xe graphics. For the configuration on offer, it is equipped with 16GB DDR4 RAM and 512GB of NVMe PCIe SSD.
The MateBook 14 2021 gets a pop-up 720p HD camera that’s hidden on the top row keyboard as well as a power button with integrated fingerprint sensor. In terms of wireless connectivity, it supports 802.11ax WiFi 6 with 2×2 MIMO antenna and Bluetooth 5.1.
The laptop still offers a generous amount of ports which include 2x USB 3.2 Gen 1, a USB-C port, an HDMI port and a 3.5mm audio jack. The MateBook 14 2021 is equipped with a 56Wh battery which Huawei claims can provide up to 11 hours of full HD video playback. Included is a 65W USB-C PD charger which is rated to push 2.5 hours of use with a quick 15-minute charge. According to the spec sheet, the laptop weighs 1.49kg and has a thickness of 15.9mm.
