Acer’s Nitro lineup has always been known to offer some brilliant bang-for-buck gaming hardware, but this time they’ve really gone all out to offer gamers on a budget a high refresh rate display for cheap with their new Nitro QG0 series of monitors, providing casual gamers with refresh rates as high as 180Hz.

Acer Nitro QG0 Malaysia pricing and availability

There will be three monitors in the Nitro QG0 lineup, the QG240YH3, the QG240YS3 and the QG270S3. They’re all available for purchase now via the Acer online eStore as well as their official stores on Shopee and Lazada. Here’s how much they cost:

  • Acer Nitro QG240YH3, 23.8″, FHD, 100Hz – RM379
  • Acer Nitro QG240YS3, 23.8″, FHD, 180Hz – RM499
  • Acer Nitro QG270S3, 27″, FHD, 180Hz – RM589

Acer Nitro QG0 specs

Starting with the cheapest of the lot, the Nitro QG240YH3 is a 23.8-inch, 1080p display using a VA panel with a 100Hz maximum refresh rate. It covers 95% of the sRGB colour gamut, with a 100,000,000: 1 contrast ratio, a 4ms grey-to-grey response time as well as a 250nits max brightness. Weighing in at 2.7kg, the QG240YH3 doesn’t have a VESA mount unfortunately, but its metal stand is tilt adjustable. It also comes with AMD FreeSync and HDR10 support, along with Acer VisionCare. There’s also no DisplayPort here, but you do have HDMI 2.0, a VGA port along with audio out.

Moving up the product stack, we have the Nitro QG240YS3 which looks near identical to the QG240YH3, but offers a number of improvements over the former. For instance, it packs a much higher 180Hz refresh rate, with a faster 1ms response time when using visual response boost. It’s brighter too, at 300nits of brightness, along with AMD FreeSync Premium support while also having a DisplayPort 1.4 port at the back, along with a HDMI 2.0 port and audio out. Other than that, it’s mostly the same 23.8-inch, FHD VA panel with 95% coverage of the sRGB colour gamut, 100,000,000: 1 contrast ratio, a tilt adjustable stand and HDR10 support.

Lastly, we have the Nitro QG270S3. It’s pretty much a larger version of the Nitro QG240YS3, coming in with a 27-inch, FHD VA display. It’s capable of a 180Hz refresh rate, with a 1ms visual response boost response time. It covers 95% of the sRGB colour gamut with a 100,000,000:1 contrast ratio, and can push out 300nits of brightness. There’s AMD FreeSync Premium support too, together with HDR10. Just like the others though, it lacks a VESA mount and only has a tilt adjustable stand, while behind you’ll find a HDMI 2.0 port, a DisplayPort 1.4 port and audio out.
