[ UPDATE 15/02/2023 20:00 ] Hotlink Pantas’s latest promo offers extra 20GB for its 30GB data plan. Users can get a total of 50GB of data with unlimited calls for RM35/month.

Besides upgrading the Hotlink postpaid plans with more data, Maxis has also revised its prepaid data offering on Hotlink Pantas. In case you missed it, Hotlink Pantas offers data plans with one-year validity, which is perfect for casual users. However, it seems that the higher 20GB and 8GB options have been removed and this results in a higher cost per GB if you need to top up more data that are valid for 365 days.

RM2 per GB across the board for 365-day validity

As shown on the left above, the biggest data option with 365-day validity is 5GB for RM10 (RM2 per GB). There are other cheaper options such as 2GB and 1GB offered at RM4 and RM2 respectively, which also have the same RM2 per GB rate.

Previously, a Hotlink Pantas user could save more by getting 8GB for RM15 (RM1.88 per GB) or 20GB for RM30 (RM1.50 per GB).

Hotlink offers 30GB high-speed data and unlimited calls for RM35/month

On the flip side, Hotlink has upgraded its 30-day validity high-speed data pass and it costs slightly less. Previously, it offered 25GB of high-speed data with unlimited calls for RM40/month. Now, they are offering 30GB of high-speed data and unlimited calls for RM35/month. That’s a better value than the recently upgraded Hotlink Postpaid 40 unless you use SMS a lot.

Thanks @mk_irons for the tip!
