OnePlus has already confirmed that they’ll be having a global launch for their upcoming OnePlus 11 flagship smartphone on 7 February, but ahead of the global launch, the device has already been seen in the SIRIM database. In fact, not only has the OnePlus 11 passed the SIRIM certification, but there’s also their new true wireless earbuds, the OnePlus Buds Pro 2. Both devices were listed under the company XianFeng Technology Sdn Bhd, who are the current official distributor for OnePlus in Malaysia.
We know by now of course almost everything about the OnePlus 11 as it’s already been launched in China. As a quick recap, it’s a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2-powered flagship smartphone with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. You’re also getting a 6.7-inch, curved AMOLED display pushing a 3216 x 1440p resolution, an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1,300nits, along with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass Victus over it.
Then there’s the return of the Hasselblad branding too, with a triple rear camera setup using a main 50MP, f/1.8 camera using the Sony IMX890 sensor flanked by a 48MP, f/2.2 ultrawide shooter and a 32MP, f/2.0 telephoto lens offering a 2x optical zoom. The selfie camera meanwhile is a 16MP, f/2.4 shooter. You’ll also find a 5,000mAh battery with 100W fast charging, down from the 150W charging speeds offered by last year’s OnePlus 10T. And of course, you’re getting the return of the alert slider too, which was controversially omitted from the OnePlus 10T.
There’s no word just yet on when the OnePlus 11 will be made available in Malaysia—we’ll have to wait at least until 7 February to find out its availability and pricing details—but we do at least know how much it costs in China. It starts at CNY3,999 (~RM2,550.63) there with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, with 16GB of RAM also available for CNY4,399 (~RM2,805.75). For CNY4,899 (~RM3,124.66) though you can get the top specced model with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
Besides that, there’s the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 too, which launched in China alongside the OnePlus 11. The Chinese company says that it offers improved noise cancelling, Dolby Atmos spatial audio and was tuned by Dynaudio. OnePlus has mostly kept the same design of the original OnePlus Buds Pro here, with matte charging case and a two tone design on the buds themselves. It uses 11mm dynamic drivers and 6mm planar diaphragm drivers along with three microphones on each earbud, and uses Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity. They go for CNY899 (~RM573.24) in China and should also feature at the global 7 February launch.
