The Samsung Galaxy S23 series launch is less than a month away as Samsung has confirmed its upcoming Unpacked 2023 event happening on 2nd February 2023. This is Samsung’s first flagship smartphone launch of the year and Samsung Malaysia is also offering an extra eVoucher if you register your interest online for the new Galaxy S23 series.
The Galaxy Unpacked Unpacked is happening at San Francisco on 1st February 2023 at 10am PST, which is at 2:00am Malaysian Time on Thursday, 2nd February 2023. You can watch the Unpacked 2023 event live on Samsung’s YouTube channel.
If you’re looking at buying one of the latest Samsung Galaxy S23 models, you can register your interest now on Samsung Malaysia’s website and you’ll be entitled to redeem a RM200 eVoucher when you pre-order. Since Malaysia is one of Samsung’s key market, you can expect pre-orders for the Galaxy S23 series to start shortly after the global Unpacked event.

From the leaks, Samsung will be releasing a total of 3 models of the Galaxy S23 series which include the top-of-the-line Galaxy S23 Ultra. However, don’t expect a massive design change from the current Galaxy S22 series. As shown in the teaser above, the new devices will feature the same vertically-aligned triple camera setup while the Ultra would get additional sensors as well as the S Pen stylus. Similar to last year’s Galaxy S22, Samsung is expected to use Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip across the Galaxy S23 series this year. The Korean smartphone maker is said to be looking at enabling Satellite Communications on their phones similar to Huawei and Apple, but this is likely to be enabled on flagship devices launching in the second half of 2023.
